Balsamic Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

One of my favorite meals includes, plain rice, bbq chicken and green salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.  Being health conscious, we like to make our own balsamic vinaigrette which has no sugar. This recipe makes two cups of dressing that usually lasts us about a month. I like to buy balsamic vinegar at World Market because they have a large variety of flavors.

1 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 tablespoon minced garlic ( or 2 cloves of crushed garlic)
Ground black pepper to taste
salt (optional)

Mix all the ingredients together. Store in a bottle. Shake well before use!
