Bitter Melon is one of my favorite vegetables. It has many medicinal properties. It is used to treat gastrointestinal diseases, malaria and many more. As the name suggests, bitter melon has a bitter taste. One of the ways to prepare bitter melon is to fry it, so the bitter taste is not present.
1. In a non-stick pan, heat oil in a medium heat.
2. Add sliced bitter melon.
3. Let them cook for 15 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally (close the lid to preserve heat and moisture). Add salt to taste and enjoy with rice and lentil.
